We at Bushcrafts LLC consider ourselves the ambassadors of the nature and a bridge to a more fulfilling and meaningful life through experiential learning for youth. Below are some of our core initiatives

India Experience

A bold and immersive journey that enriches young lives through Himalayan hiking, wildlife safaris, and equestrian training — building deep connections with nature, culture, and each other.

Our journey begins in the breathtaking foothills of the Himalayas, where participants will embark on a four-day hike through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Along the way, they hike across sweeping alpine meadows, pass through quiet mountain villages, walk beneath forests of Oak, Rhododendron, Bamboo, Wild Cherry, and Sal trees, and experience nature in its purest form. Evenings are spent camping under star-filled skies, sharing stories around the campfire, building friendships, and disconnecting from the distractions of everyday life. Surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks, this portion of the trip consistently becomes one of the most memorable and transformative experiences for our students.

From the mountains, we travel to Tadoba National Park, one of India’s premier tiger reserves. Over the course of six wildlife safaris, participants will learn how to observe and interpret the natural world through the eyes of a field scientist. They will discover how to identify animal tracks, recognize birds and plants, understand animal behavior, and appreciate the delicate balance of ecosystems. Each evening, Dr. Amol will share captivating stories from his work as a wildlife scientist, surgeon, conservationist, and tiger researcher—bringing the jungle to life in a way few people ever get to experience.

Our final destination is Japalouppe Equestrian Center, a world-class equestrian center, equine hospital, and educational farm. Here, participants will complete a custom curated course in horseback riding, equine science, and horse management. Through the accreditation with Pony Club UK, students will earn an internationally recognized certification upon completion of the course.

Beyond riding, students will gain first hand exposure to the business and operational aspects of running a successful equine and agricultural enterprise. They will learn about animal nutrition, farm management, veterinary care, and entrepreneurship while observing the daily operations of a working equine hospital and educational farm.

Students will also have opportunities to earn service hours by:

Assisting with animal care and feeding
Supporting farm and kitchen operations
Leading educational farm tours for younger children
Creating content for the farm’s social media and outreach initiatives

As always, this trip is filled with adventure, learning, laughter, incredible food, and unforgettable memories. More importantly, it is designed to help our young warriors build confidence, resilience, leadership, independence, and lifelong friendships.
